Camp Staff started off the day with some favorite camp songs! 91 Camp friends, delegates, staff were at our 20th VLM Annual meeting on February 6th at United in Christ Lutheran Church in Eveleth. We reviewed and celebrated our 2009 camping year with pictures, reports and songs - and heard of upcoming events and plans for our camps, Camp Hiawatha and Camp Vermilion.

Thrivent Thank You Dinner which was held in February at the Sawmill Restaurant in Grand Rapids was a wonderful event for your camps and Thrivent and it members. Thrivent Members and Chapter Leadership have partnered with VLM to enhance Camp Hiawatha, Camp Vermilion and all of the programs through VLM.	2009 Women's Retreat at Camp Vermilion Friday, Feb 27, 2009 till Sunday, March 1, 2009 Most likely the 2010 Women's Retreat will be held on the same weekend next year. More Info to come in the fall.
