The month of June brings the start of our weekly worship services at Camp Hiawatha. This tradition has been happening for many years, and is often a highlight for those who summer on and around Deer Lake.
These services are completely volunteer led, from putting the schedule together to preaching to offering music for the service. And while the basic format of the service remains the same, the variety of speakers and musicians gives each week a unique feel and experience.
A simple breakfast is offered following the service for a free will offering. This provides time and space for fellowship and reconnecting with friends seen only during the summer months at the lake.
This year our services start on Sunday, June 2 and run through Sunday, August 25. Worship begins at 10:00am with fellowship and a meal immediately following. If you are in the Deer Lake/Grand Rapids are this summer, we would love to have you join us!
