We are at the end of our Voyageurs Canoe Country calendar, and we're feeling so blessed by God's unfailing love, guidance and protection. Through the sunshine, heat, wind and rain, we have been watched over and sheltered from danger. Groups have come from all over the country to experience the beauty and adventure of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness, and the weather has yet to dampen the spirits of our Voyageurs. Our prayers and love go out to everyone affected by the storms this summer, both in the BWCAW and all across Minnesota.

We have been getting settled into our new Trail Shack space all summer, and the Equipment Room and kitchen have been put to good use! It has been a privilege to be involved in the design and implementation of the new building, and here at the end of the summer we finally have a system down!

Some highlights that our canoe groups have shared include seeing an abundance of animals- beavers, otters, LOTS of turtles, deer, loons, eagles, and (allegedly) two moose at the Nina Moose entry point- trudging canoes through beaver dams, muddy portages, beautiful campsites, sunsets, berry picking, good fishing, great food, and many more testaments to the beautiful creation here in God's great northwoods. Hearing all of the stories on pick-up day is my favorite, and I can't wait to hear about the fun this week has brought our groups!

Continue to keep our canoe groups in your prayers as they travel through God's creation and encounter Christ in the wilderness.

Love & Peace,
