Community Corner - Rotary Camperships Matched

VLM is blessed by community partnerships throughout our region! Today we highlight the Quad Cities Rotary. The Rotary has supported VLM through a significant campership donation for many years.

In early March, VLM was presented with an $800 check from the Quad Cities Rotary to be used for camperships, matched by $500 from the "Camper2Campers" Project.  This club has been passionately supporting camp as way to build up and provide opportunities for youth in their community. Their support of campers in this way has been an amazing collaboration as VLM seeks to encourage faith in kids, their families, and the communities that support them.

The Quad Cities Rotary will be hosting "An Evening of Illusions" starring Garry Carson and Janine Monday, APRIL 4, 2016 at 7pm at the Virginia High School in the Goodman Auditorium (6th Ave S and 3rd St, Virginia, MN 55792). Tickets are $12 at the door (or $10 in advance, email quadcitiesrotary@gmail.com or call 218-749-3766 to purchase tickets). 100% of the ticket sales support the community projects of the Quad Cities Area Rotary, like the Campership donation made to VLM this spring!
