Posé: A pause or rest stop along the Voyageurs' portage trail. Usually about ½ mile apart. We invite you to take a pause in your day to reflect and pray with us.

"I'm an empty page, I'm an open book, write your story on my heart, come on and make your mark."

Write Your Story by Francesca Battistelli

God put each and every one of us on earth for a reason. We all have lived through chapters of uncertainty and wondering. We must always remember that God has a story for us to share and a plan for our future. He is the only one who knows what the next chapter of each of our lives will look like. Even when we find challenges in our paths we cannot let it consume us. God is always there with us, and he never gives us more than we can handle. Sometimes we may believe that something is the right fit for us when God has completely different plans for us. God has plans to prosper us and never harm us and give us peace. He will never put a mountain in front of us that we cannot climb.

Whether it be our first day of grade school, our first time at Bible camp, our confirmation, our last day of high school, our first job, our retirement, or our life's end, we all have empty pages to write on and new chapters of challenges. During these times we may struggle with decisions and hurdles to cross. It is a comfort to us as Christians to know that the Lord says "I will guide you along the best path for your life, I will advise you and watch over you." Psalm 32:8.

Throughout the challenges of life, God uses us as Christians to not only live our own stories but also to tell the story of Jesus and the grace of God. Personally, when I think of living to tell the story of Jesus, I think of an elderly lady at my church. She wasn't able to stay in her home anymore and now lives in an apartment complex. As she moved into this new chapter in her life she began to use her gifts to spread the word to the many new people who surround her, and she continues to use her prayers to strengthen those she already knew. We never know what our awesome God has in store for us! We just continue to trust in God's unfailing love and compassion for us as God's children. The Lord says, "though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant removed." Isaiah 54:10.

Throughout the chapters of our life, we know that only God knows what tomorrow holds for us.

And as you go forth with your day, "I pray that God would fill your heart with dreams and that faith gives you the courage to dare to do great things, I'm here for you WHATEVER this life brings, so let my love give you roots and help you find your wings."
