Time: Arrive by 7:30 p.m. Friday (we will be serving supper) and depart Sunday after brunch

Cost: $ 70 .00 per person (includes lodging and meals)

Place: Camp Vermilion (Bakk House), Cook, Minnesota

What to Expect

Friday evening: Getting aquainted, introduction to the weekend, devotions , sauna and relax.

Saturday morning: Leisurely wake up, breakfast and Bible study

Saturday noon: Lunch

Saturday afternoon : Bible Study & recreation followed by a sumptuous dinner

Saturday evening: R elaxation & worship

Sunday morning: Closing worship, brunch and departure

You are cordially invited to attend a “Leading Ladies in the Leap Year” retreat at Camp Vermilion. Our retreat will focus on nourishing your spirits, refreshing your bodies and stimulating your mind. Time will be structured around Bible study, recreation and worship. We will explore Lydia’s story in the Bible (acts 16), your story and ministry. Leap into the New Year with a renewed spirit and wonderful fellowship!

About the facilitator: Brenda Tibbetts, Associate in Ministry began her call to Our Savior’s Lutheran Church 7 years ago in Virginia, MN. She served for 8 1/2 years on the VLM Board of Directors and currently serves on the Northeastern MN synod’s School of Lay Ministry Steering Committee. She is passionate about Life-Long Learning opportunities for lay persons of all ages and getting others excited about Bible study. Brenda resides in Cook, MN with her husband Bill of 29 years and are newly empty nesters. They are parents of 3 grown children.
