The camp carries accident/injury insurance. This insurance is a modest secondary insurer policy, which will cover expenses your insurance company does not cover if injury occurs while at camp. If you are not insured, the camp insurance will cover some medical costs. Please notify the camp office immediately if you have claim questions.
MISSION PROJECT:
Each year, the camps emphasize a special mission project in which the campers are invited to supporting. Funds from this year’s Mission Project will be divided between - providing Spanish Bibles for our NEMN Synod's companion congergations in Hondoras, assisting Wilderness Canoe Base, our sister ELCA canoe camp that lost numerous buildings in last spring's BWCA wildfires, and tree planting at Camp Vermilion. Last year are campers raised over $5200.00 for Camp Noah, a special program developed by Lutheran Disaster Response for the children affected by the 2005 Gulf Coast hurricanes.
