General Distances to Camp Vermilion From:   Duluth 90 miles,  Mpls/St Paul Airport 225 miles from the MPLS/St Paul Airport using  I35 to Hwy 33 to Hwy 53,  Chicago about 9 hours driving time.

TO: Camp Vermilion (from South):

Hwy 53 North to Cook   

RIGHT (North) onto CR-24  -  Travel the 3 blocks through town.
Continue over RR tracks and travel 3 miles on 24

Right onto # 78 at Big "Resort Directional" - Travel 2.5 miles

Left onto Luthey Road (which is the 2nd possible left and has Camp Vermilion Sign) 

1/4 mile on Luthey - left under camp Vermilion Archway  - 3/4 mile driveway

Camper & BWCA Check-in is usually in the parking lot.  If it is raining it will be in the Dining Hall, the tall red building on the right after the parking lot.

To: Camp Hiawatha

Hwy 169 (or Hwy 2 from East) to Grand Rapids  (Camp Hiawatha is about 90 miles from Duluth)

Hwy 38 North out of Grand Rapids   - Travel 12.4 miles

Left (West) onto CR Rd 19 - Travel 2.3 miles 

Camp is on the Left

There are 2 driveways available

Park in the upper parking lot.

Camper Check-in is in the canteen which is close to the parking lot.

FROM Deer River.....  Hwy 6 North out of Deer River travel  4 miles......Right onto CR 19 Travel  7 miles and the camp will be on the right

To: VLM Office from South

53 North to Cook   

RIGHT (North) onto CR-24  -  Travel the 3 blocks through town.

Continue over RR Tracks and Turn Right between Baptist Church & Side School Parking Lot
